The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa is excited to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2008 RMHC – EI Grants Program.

The deadline for this year’s grant application is September 8, 2008.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa is perhaps best known for helping families cope with medical crisis, but we are more. In addition to providing services at the Ronald McDonald House for families, RMHC - EI will now give $37,000 in grants to programs benefitting the health and well being of children across Eastern Iowa.

RMHC Grants are competitive, allowing RMHC to select and award projects that create growth and enrichment opportunities for today’s children who will become tomorrow’s citizens and leaders. Applications are reviewed twice a year by our Board of Directors. 

Proceeds from World Children's Day, donated canister money collected from generous customers at Eastern Iowa McDonald Restaurants, and matching funds from RMHC - Global, the organization's international headquarters, help fund the Grants Program.
